Happy goats is an innovative web app for sheep and goat farmers. It features rich capabilities to help farmers and farmers' organizations optimize and diversify production for profitability.
The app provides an action plan by simulating different what-if scenarios for the future and estimating parameters such as herd size,prices costs, working hours, daily and yearly feeding and grazing for each scenario.
HappyGoats has been a collaborative project, funded through the SmartAgriFood2 accelerator project. Development work and prototyping has been undertaken by Integrated ITDC while sheep & goats expertise by AUTH's Vet School, Lab of Animal Husbandry.
